WHY IS THIS RECIPE SO BENEFICIAL?

Cinnamon is not only a great flavor but also the lectins in this ancient spice are antiviral and support insulin sensitivity and optimal heal.

Hesperidin is found in the membranes of oranges, limes, lemons and other citrus. Hesperidin is the major flavanone present in citrus fruits.

In the instestines, gut flora then transforms hesperidin into hesperetin which is shown in vitro to have antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2 viruses.

It blocks the docking of SARS-CoV-2 virus to the ACE2 receptor; this is the receptors which allows entry of the virus into the host.

Our oral mucosa, small intestinal mucosa and lung epithelium are the densest tissues for ACE2 receptors.

By keeping the mucosa of the lungs and guts strong theoretically limits viral binding, infection and replication.

Probiotics, your gut flora and protective botanicals like hesperidin are our best friends for optimal immunity.

Hesperidin additionally has many potential protective factors discovered such as benefits seen in neurodegenerative diseases, anti-oxidant, anti-depressive, anti-cancer, immunomodulatory properties, antiasthmatic effects and beneficial shifts in gut flora.

This recipe also has big concentrations of vitamin C and blueberry bioflavonoids.

Vitamin C is very protective against all viruses and particularly for resolution of signs and symptoms of Covid-19.

The 5th ingredient of this special and delicious dessert for your friends and family is organic oats.

Oats have several, special gooey fibers called prebiotics. These are super fertilizer or compost for your antiviral protective gut flora.

Some of these whole grain prebiotics are called: cooked resistant starch (RS3), oligosaccharides, and beta-glucan. The immune system of the hive of honey bees is honey, propolis and royal jelly.

These components are produced by bees and protect them and their babies from pathogenic viruses, mold, and bacteria.

Dr Grace PharmD relies on Beekeeper’s Naturals B Powered Honey which contains 42 mg Propolis per tablespoon and concentrated extracts of Royal Jelly.
